Delete your account
How to permanently delete your OjosTV account and the data linked to it, with or without the app.
This page explains how to delete your account in OjosTV - Talk to Strangers, the OjosTV app on Google Play published by co-dev, and on the OjosTV website at ojos.tv. It is one account: deleting it in one place deletes it everywhere.
Option 1: in the app or on the website
- Open the OjosTV app, or go to ojos.tv in any browser — you do not need to install the app.
- Sign in with the phone number or email address of your account.
- Open Settings → Profile & Account → Delete account.
- If you want a copy of your data first, choose Download my data before you continue.
- Confirm the deletion.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on all devices.
Option 2: by email
If you cannot sign in, send an email to privacy@ojos.tv with the subject "Delete my account", and include the phone number or email address registered to the account. To protect you, we will confirm the request by sending a code to that phone number or email address. We complete the deletion within 30 days and let you know when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photos and account details, including your phone number or email address and date of birth
- Your posts, videos, comments and other content
- Your messages, followers, following and blocked lists
- Your settings and the devices signed in to your account
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups: copies of deleted data are erased from our backups within 90 days.
- Reports: reports you filed or that were filed about you, with their evidence, are kept for up to 12 months after they are resolved, so that we can keep the Service safe.
- Bans: if your account was banned, the identifiers needed to enforce the ban are kept for as long as the ban lasts.
- Legal obligations: data connected to child sexual abuse reports or to a valid legal request is kept for as long as the law requires.
Messages you sent to other people may remain visible to them where the law and the nature of the feature allow, but they are no longer linked to your profile.
No account?
Random video chat can be used without an account, so there is nothing to delete. To remove the settings and age check result stored on your device, clear the app's data or your browser's site data for ojos.tv.
