About OjosTV

OjosTV is a social video platform that connects people around the world through real-time video conversations. Our community is active in dozens of countries and 24 languages, and user safety is a core part of the product — not an add-on.

About the role

We're looking for a Community & Safety Manager to own the area end to end: from day-to-day report handling to shaping the policies and tools that protect our users. This role suits someone who understands online communities deeply, can make sensitive decisions quickly and thoughtfully, and wants to influence how the product looks and feels. The role is remote, with partial overlap with the team's working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Handle user reports: review, decide on blocks and document outcomes
  • Write, update and enforce the community guidelines and content policy
  • Analyse trends in abusive behaviour and propose product solutions
  • Work closely with engineering on moderation tooling, automated detection and appeals
  • Respond to user enquiries about safety and privacy
  • Prepare periodic reports on the state of safety on the platform
  • Track regulatory and app store requirements around child safety and content

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in community management, content moderation or Trust & Safety
  • Native or near-native English and Spanish, written and spoken
  • Sound judgement, the ability to decide under pressure, and emotional resilience
  • Clear writing of policies and guidelines
  • Familiarity with privacy and personal data protection principles
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with good time management

Nice to have

  • Experience with video or real-time chat platforms
  • Additional languages, especially Portuguese
  • Familiarity with Google Play and App Store safety requirements
  • Experience working with data and trend analysis

What we offer

  • Remote work from Colombia, Mexico or Spain
  • Flexible hours
  • A personal learning budget
  • Direct influence on the product and the experience of millions of conversations
  • A small, supportive team where your voice carries weight

Hiring process

  1. A short intro call
  2. A short practical exercise: reviewing a few sample cases and deciding on them
  3. An interview with the team

Applications are open until December 15, 2026. We get back to everyone who applies.

Equal opportunity

We hire regardless of gender, age, origin, religion, sexual orientation or disability, and we encourage candidates from every background to apply.
