Report intimate images shared without consent

If an intimate image or video of you — real or fake — was shared on OjosTV without your consent, we will remove it. Here is how to ask.

Sharing intimate images of someone without their consent is forbidden on OjosTV, and in many countries it is a crime. This applies to real images and to fake or AI-generated ones ("deepfakes"). It applies to OjosTV - Talk to Strangers, the OjosTV app on Google Play published by co-dev, and to the OjosTV website at ojos.tv.

Who can make a request

The person shown in the image or video, or someone authorised to act on their behalf — for example a lawyer, a parent of a minor, or a support organisation. You do not need an OjosTV account.

How to make a request

Send an email to safety@ojos.tv with this subject line:

Intimate image removal request

In the email, include:

  1. Where the content is: a link, the username or profile that shared it, or — for something shown in a chat — the approximate date and time. Give as much detail as you can so that we can find it.
  2. A statement that you are the person shown, or are authorised to act for them, and that you believe in good faith that the image or video was shared without consent.
  3. Your contact details: your name and an email address or phone number where we can reach you.
  4. Your signature: typing your full name at the end of the email counts as a signature.

Please do not send us the image itself. A description and its location are enough.

If you have an account, you can also report through the Help Centre in your settings. If it happened during a random video chat, use the report button on the chat screen with the reason "Nudity or sexual content".

What we do

  • We remove the content as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request.
  • We make reasonable efforts to find and remove copies of the same content on OjosTV.
  • We take action against the account that shared it, which may include a permanent ban.
  • We let you know when the content has been removed.

Your request is confidential. We do not tell the person who shared the content who made the request.

If someone is threatening you

If someone is threatening to share intimate images of you unless you pay or send more ("sextortion"):

  • Do not pay and do not send anything more — it rarely stops the threats.
  • Keep evidence: screenshots of messages, usernames and links.
  • Block and report the person, and contact the police.
